3 Shoot Prices:

$99 Call or email for an appointment on a Tuesday at 7:30pm at the Lowell studio. My kid's asleep, my husband is home, and I'm ready to rumble. Add professional makeup for $50.

$325 That's the anywhere/anytime shoot. We can go to the Boston studio if it's more convenient for you, we can meet on a weekday morning at your workplace, we can photograph your entire family at your home on a weekend.

There's One More - Free Yup. Every First Saturday at Western Avenue Studios in Lowell, I do fast, free painless portraits. It keeps me busy and engaged, and I get to meet lots of interesting new people.

Incidentals:

Online Proofs Free. They're ready to view within a few days of the shoot.

High-Resolution CD $150. The CD contains all of the good images, color-corrected. You can make prints, email the images, promote yourself, whatever. I include a rights release with the rights to reproduce any image for personal or promotional use.

Prints & Downloads Prints are available for purchase through the online album. You can also purchase downloads there.

How does it go?

From start to finish, we’ll spend about an hour and a half together, either on location or at one of the two Megpix studios. First we’ll follow up on our original conversation (when you scheduled the shoot), to make sure we have a plan to cover each of the needs you have for the photos. We’ll take a look at any changes of clothes that you brought, check makeup and hair, and most of all, get comfortable with each other. We’re going for a relaxed, exciting photo shoot that captures the person you truly are!

The cost includes the creation of all of the images and an online album ready to view within a few days. You can purchase a CD containing all of the high-resolution images, too.

Image Reproduction Rights:

Promotional Reproduction Rights Promotional rights promote you, your institution or group. A head shot would be promo use, as would use on a brochure, website, poster, or other give-away item. Once you purchase promo rights to an image, you can keep using that image promotionally in several different venues - just remember to tell the final user of the image about the Megpix Photography photo credit, please!

Commercial Reproduction Rights If you make a CD or sell a book or a mug or a t-shirt with a Megpix Photography image, you need to pay a licensing fee to the photographer, essentially for helping you sell that product. Any item that you hope to make a profit from that includes one of our images has to be licensed with commercial rights. It’s a way of saying thanks for helping you sell your product with a great image! Remember, commercial rights are licensed for specific purposes. Freelance Photography and Copyright Protection Megpix Photography is a freelance photography business. According to US Copyright Law, artists retain the copyright to all the images they create. But you can lease the rights to reproduce images promotionally and/or commercially. Each type of rights is exclusive of the others, so before you use an image, make sure you have leased the right kind of rights.

How to Order:

Digital Images or Prints -Photos are labeled like this: megpix-012345-001.jpg. The last 3 digits are the image number. The 6-digit number is the date of your photo shoot as mmddyy. When you order, please tell me the date of your shoot plus the image number(s). You can order digital images with repro rights and prints. You can order directly through your free online album, or send me an email instead.
